The Houndmaster - A Vengeful Killer

The Houndmaster makes his debut in Dead by Daylight as the newest Killer. Fueled by a rabid lust for vengeance, he excels at hunting down Survivors with no mercy. His loyal canine companion, Snug, is Dead by Daylight's first AI-controlled animal character. With Snug by his side, the Houndmaster can use Scent of Blood to track Survivors and reveal their locations within the Houndsense radius. Once found, he can send Snug after a Survivor and temporarily restrain them using the Chase command.

In addition to his tracking abilities, the Houndmaster arrives with three character-specific Perks. All-Shaking Thunder allows him to plummet from a height and gain an extended lunge, enabling him to quickly close the gap on his quarry. Scourge Hook: Jagged Compass reveals the Generator with the most progress when a Survivor is unhooked from a non-Scourge Hook and hooked on a Scourge Hook. No Quarter intimidates Survivors, causing them to fail Skill Checks when nearly completing a self-heal and become Broken for a duration.

Taurie Cain - A Survivor with Tricks

Taurie Cain, the new Survivor, spent years pledging her devotion to The Entity only to end up in The Fog. She has her own set of unique abilities. Invocation: Treacherous Crows allows her to become Injured and Broken for the rest of the Trial by spending time in the shadows. When a Killer's aura is revealed by disturbing a Crow in the Basement, it gives her an advantage.

Clean Break enables her to instantly become Broken after finishing healing another Survivor and then begin being healed by another Survivor. If she survives long enough, she can regain her lost Health States. Shoulder The Burden allows her to activate a special ability once per Trial. When unhooking a Survivor, she loses 1 Hook State and gains 1 Hook State, screams, and becomes Exposed for a brief duration.

The Doomed Course Collection - Deeper Backstories

The Doomed Course Collection takes players deeper into the backstories of The Houndmaster and Taurie Cain. It features 2 Outfits that shed new light on their personalities. Taurie's Very Rare Outfit from her time as a member of the Black Talon is intimidating, making her fellow Survivors look over their shoulders. The Ultimate Houndmaster's Visceral Legendary Outfit brings another of her favorite dogs to the forefront.

And then there's the surprise with The Junji Ito Collection. Featuring 8 Outfits inspired by Junji Ito's most nightmarish characters, it includes 2 Legendaries - The Artist as Miss Fuchi and The Spirit as Tomie Kawakami, both with special audio recorded specifically for the Outfits. The Collection also features new Very Rare Outfits for The Twins, The Trickster, The Dredge, Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson. However, there is no word yet on when this collection will arrive, so players will have to stay tuned.
