These alerts pointed to a user uploading multiple files of harmful content onto Discord, an internet-based communication tool widely used by gamers. Through thorough investigative work involving search warrants, detectives identified the suspect as a minor living in Ocala. During a home visit, law enforcement confirmed that the teenager was the sole user of the account in question. He confessed to downloading over thirty files containing exploitative material, driven by promises from other users that he could advance his rank in exchange for such actions.

The arrest took place on January 27th, with the youth being transferred to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
